The tables below display the data needs of local watershed organizations by state. The amounts of data needed as well as currently on-hand, by type, are listed as percentages of respondents for each state and overall. In addition, the physical water quality data category includes type of data (i.e., catchment, sub-watershed, watershed, tributary basin). Across all ten states, 31% of respondents indicated that they have physical water quality data. Overall, 36% of respondents indicated that they need data, with the highest amount (42%) consisting of watershed data. At least 50% of respondents from Florida, North Carolina, and West Virginia reported that they have data, while half of respondents in Georgia need data, consisting mostly of watershed (38%) and tributary basin (43%).
