Kristen works on designing publications, maintaining the Web site, and developing the Southeast Watershed Assistance Network (SWAN). SWAN is an online resource for transferring innovative technical tools for watershed protection, restoration and management: sharing model watershed programs, landuse ordinances, training tools and reports and linking the Southeast models to the nation (www.watershed-assistance.net).

Kristen has a BA in English and Environmental Studies from Denison University in Granville, Ohio and attended graduate school for Environmental Policy and Planning at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
